Beveling, a universal solution in preparation for welding.
Beveling, or rather chamfering in preparation for welding, is one of the company’s greatest strengths in its supply of semi-finished products. Beveling can be performed in different ways: through chip removal, mechanical nibbling, or oxy-fuel cutting (Bevel).
Chip removal and mechanical nibbling both consist in removing metal from the surface through cold machining. Alternatively, beveling can be performed manually by means of oxy-acetylene torch or directly by machine during cutting through the use of the new Bevel system applied to oxy-fuel cutting and plasma cutting technologies. This treatment is performed in respect of the guidelines provided in Standard ISO 9692 regarding joint preparation for welding. Highly qualified welding personnel ensures that the product processed has the ideal characteristics for correct assembly.
